Someone once showed me a poem called The Pill and the way it was written it reminded me of the way James Brown put the lyrics together for his song King Heroin. It made me wanna use the instrumental from that song and recite this poem over it out of respect for James Brown along with the girl who wrote this poem. Most importantly for the message it holds. Something like a mixtape track or spoken word so here's something new and something different from me. Something I've always wanted to do. It felt good to hear some say that they felt the message and that it was powerful. That's just what I was going for. Mixed and produced by Fredi Handshoe.
